Website Privacy Policy

For Hi-Trans Multiservices

Effective date: 10 August 2026

This website is informational. It does not use analytics or advertising trackers and does not offer e-commerce or online payments. Visitors may contact Hi-Trans Multiservices using the email address or telephone details published on the website, or by submitting an enquiry through the website’s RFQ/enquiry form.

1. About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hi-Trans Multiservices (“Hi-Trans”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal data in connection with www.hitransmultiservices.in (the “Website”) and communications initiated through the contact details published on the Website.

It applies to visitors to the Website and to individuals who contact us in relation to our products, services, capabilities, projects, enquiries or other business matters. It does not govern employee data or personal data processed under separate contractual or business arrangements where a different privacy notice applies.

2. Current Website Functionality

At the effective date of this Policy, the Website is intended primarily to provide information about Hi-Trans, its engineering capabilities, products, services and business activities.

  • No user registration or customer accounts are provided.
  • No e-commerce, shopping cart, payment gateway or online payment processing is provided.
  • Visitors may voluntarily submit an enquiry through the online RFQ/enquiry form; submissions are delivered by email to designated Hi-Trans recipients and are not stored in a website database.
  • We do not deploy analytics, behavioural advertising or marketing-tracking technologies on the Website at initial launch.
  • Visitors may voluntarily contact us using the email address or telephone details displayed on the Website.

If these features change, this Policy will be updated before or when the relevant processing begins, as required by applicable law.

3. Personal Data We May Receive

3.1 Information you voluntarily provide

If you contact us by email, telephone or another published business contact channel — including the Website’s RFQ/enquiry form — we may receive information such as your name, business contact details, organisation, job title, enquiry details, project requirements and any documents or information you choose to provide.

3.2 Basic technical and security information

Even where we do not use analytics or tracking tools, normal website hosting, network or security infrastructure may automatically generate limited technical records, such as IP address, date and time of access, requested page or resource, browser or device information, referring URL, and server/security logs. Such records may be created by our hosting, content-delivery, security or infrastructure providers as part of operating and protecting the Website.

To help prevent automated abuse of the RFQ/enquiry form, our server temporarily processes a keyed cryptographic hash (HMAC-SHA-256) of the submitting device’s IP address (not the IP address itself) together with a submission timestamp, solely to limit the rate of submissions from a single source; this record is not linked to submitted enquiry content.

3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect through the Website at initial launch

  • Payment card, banking or payment credentials through the Website.
  • Government identity documents through the Website.
  • Passwords or Website account credentials, because Website accounts are not offered.
  • Personal data for behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. How We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data only for legitimate and relevant business purposes, including to:

  • respond to enquiries and communications;
  • understand project, product, service or support requirements communicated to us;
  • prepare, discuss or follow up on quotations, proposals, technical information or business opportunities outside the Website;
  • maintain business correspondence and records;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and protect the Website and our information systems;
  • prevent misuse, fraud, malicious activity or cybersecurity incidents;
  • comply with applicable law, legal process, regulatory requirements or lawful requests; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights and claims.

We do not sell or rent personal data. At initial launch, we do not use Website visitor data for targeted advertising or behavioural profiling.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

At initial launch, we do not intentionally use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, behavioural tracking pixels or similar marketing technologies.

The Website or its hosting/security infrastructure may use strictly necessary or technical mechanisms required to deliver pages, maintain security, balance traffic or preserve basic functionality. These are not used by Hi-Trans for behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking. If non-essential cookies or analytics are introduced in the future, we will update this Policy and implement any notice or consent mechanism required by applicable law before using them.

6. Sharing and Service Providers

We may disclose personal data on a need-to-know basis to service providers or professional advisers that support our business or the Website, such as website hosting, domain, email, IT/security, cloud, backup, legal, accounting or professional-service providers. Such parties may process information only for the relevant service or purpose, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, lawful government request, regulatory requirement, or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, systems, personnel, customers or others. In a business reorganisation, transfer or succession, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received or generated, including responding to enquiries, maintaining business records, meeting legal/accounting requirements, resolving disputes, securing systems and enforcing agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information, the business relationship, applicable limitation periods, contractual requirements and mandatory legal retention obligations. Technical logs may be retained for a limited period appropriate to security, troubleshooting and legal requirements.

RFQ/enquiry form submissions are delivered by email to designated Hi-Trans personnel and are not stored in a separate website database; such emails are retained in accordance with our ordinary business email retention practices and the general principles in this section.

8. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. These may include access controls, system and account security, backups, patching, secure hosting practices, anti-malware or security monitoring, and restrictions on unnecessary access.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information by ordinary email or other unsecured channels.

9. International Processing

Some website, cloud, email, security or technology service providers may store or process information in India or in other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred or processed outside India, we will handle such transfers in accordance with restrictions and requirements that are applicable to us under Indian law from time to time.

10. Children

The Website is directed to businesses, professionals and persons seeking information about industrial engineering products and services. It is not designed or intended for children, and we do not knowingly solicit personal data from children through the Website. If we learn that personal data of a child has been provided to us inappropriately, we will take reasonable steps consistent with applicable law.

11. Your Requests and Choices

You may contact us using the contact details published on the Website to ask about personal data that you have directly provided to us, request correction or updating of inaccurate information, request deletion where appropriate, withdraw a communication preference, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity or request before acting, and some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law.

As additional provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 become applicable, we will provide and facilitate the rights and mechanisms required by those provisions.

12. Third-Party Websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or resources. Their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties and are not governed by this Policy. Access to any third-party resource is at the visitor's discretion.

13. Legal Framework and DPDP Transition

This Policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it to the extent currently applicable, and to be forward-compatible with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (“DPDP Rules”) as their relevant provisions commence.

The Central Government notified phased commencement of the DPDP framework on 13 November 2025. As of the effective date of this Policy, several institutional and definitional provisions are in force, while most substantive private-sector processing obligations and the corresponding operational rules are scheduled to commence later. Hi-Trans will update its privacy practices and this Policy as required when additional provisions become applicable.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Policy to reflect changes in the Website, our practices, service providers or applicable law. The revised version will be posted on the Website with an updated effective date. Material changes affecting the handling of personal data will be communicated or implemented in the manner required by applicable law.

15. Contact

For privacy questions, requests or complaints relating to this Website, contact Hi-Trans Multiservices using the email address, telephone number or other business contact details published on the Contact page of www.hitransmultiservices.in.

Please include enough information for us to understand and respond to your request, but do not send unnecessary sensitive personal data.
